Disney’s Enchanted Sequel Set to Reshoot in New York City Next Month

Nearly two decades after the release of the Disney movie fascinatedThe world of musical comedy is expected to continue with Disney World + Frustrating. The live-action sequel has been getting updates gradually over the past year or so, and the streaming service announced late last year that it’s expected to launch for the first time in the fall of 2022. According to their reports, these reshoots are for additional principal photography, in response to the film receiving mixed reviews from early test screenings. With that in mind, it’s not clear at this point if the movie will still debut this fall, or if it will be delayed.

Frustrating You’ll return to the story of Gisele (Amy Adams), an animation princess who found her way into the world of live action in New York City. While plot details are primarily unknown, we do know that Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel will also return for the film. Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jayma Mays have been cast as the film’s villains, and Gabriella Baldacino has been cast as an older version of Morgan Phillippe, the daughter of Dempsey’s character from the original movie.
