Walheim The developers of Iron Gate have been teasing the new Mistlands update for a while now, and this week, players got another look at some of what’s planned for the future. This time around, we’ve seen another weapon that will be added whenever the Mistlands fall as well as some technical concepts for a zone within the new biome that definitely seem won’t suit those who aren’t big on bugs.
The latest update on the update, like almost all the previews before it, was shared in a post on the game’s Steam page where the developers talked about the Mistlands and its inhabitants. This is where the image below was shared that appears to contain a dungeon of some sort marked by what appears to be a strip along the outside of it. Iron Gate hasn’t specified exactly what’s left of it, whether it’s spiders or something else, but we do at least have some technical concepts to keep players guessing.
“New creatures are being given life, dungeons are being planned, weapons are being manufactured,” the Iron Gate team said. “Designing a new biome is a big task, as many pieces need to be put together before it becomes the full experience it has to be, and it will require a lot of iterations and testing before that can be done. The biome takes some time still to go, but we are excited about it and we think That result will be worth the wait!”
Alongside this artistic concept, we also took a look at another new weapon that will be added in the Mistlands update. Shown below after a tease not too long ago, it looks as if players will be able to access a new cross-sectional arc of sorts. Its special characteristics, if any, are not normally talked about at this time, but at least we know what they look like now.
Note that this crossbow differs from the one shown earlier. One of Mistlands’ first teasing hints about a new weapon was shown as the “Mistlands Bow” during a speed modeling preview.
Mistlands Update for Walheim It does not currently have a release date, so players will have to look forward to more teasers like these until the update is ready for release.
