Pop Team Epic will be back soon for a second season, and they’ve finally set a launch window for the anime’s big comeback! Bkub Okawa’s original manga gag made its debut with one of the most memorable anime adaptations released in the past few years. Many fans had no idea what to expect from the anime when it premiered in the Winter 2018 animation schedule, and it continues to confuse fans even more. Now the series is finally back with a second season of new episodes set to premiere later this year.
It was first announced that it is working with a scheduled release sometime this year, epic pop team He released a new special season two trailer during AnimeJapan 2022 which confirmed that season two will begin in October as part of the fall 2022 animation schedule. Although there is no specific release date for the new season yet, the new season trailer brings back voice actor Shota Aoi As a time traveler he made it as during the first season finale. The type of vocal talent, production staff, or even studio currently attached to season two has yet to be revealed as of this writing. If the first season is anything to go by, fans should expect the unexpected here as there are still many ways new episodes can surprise fans.
