DC’s live multiverse is about to get another heroine in the heights Actress Leslie Grace prepares to portray Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in the upcoming HBO Max movie. While it’s unclear exactly when the movie will hit our screens, especially after the recent delays to other DC movies, there’s undeniable a lot of anticipation around the character of Grace. Part of that comes down to the collection of photos and videos surrounding the project, which has been filmed in Glasgow over the past few months – and thanks to a new social media post from Grace, we now know when this chapter will come to an end. In an Instagram post, which you can check out below, Grace reveals that bat girl He’s in the final week of filming, and he’s giving some behind-the-scenes looks at the production so far.

“I’ve never fought in my life, so we work hard every day until my body gets used to all the movements!” Grace said in a previous interview with painting From her preparations for the movie. “I also read quite a few comics and, believe it or not, keep an eye on tweets from our beloved DC comic fans to see what they’re excited to see in my iteration of Babs! Research is everything.”
“I am so excited to honor this iconic figure whose legacy spans more than 50 years,” Grace continued. “It’s a huge responsibility but also an honor – and I want to do everything in my power to make sure it gets the best of me!”
