When it comes to Batman’s biggest antagonist, many actors have played the Joker over the years. Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix took home Oscars for their portrayal of a DC villain, and many other big names have worn the Joker’s iconic look ranging from Jack Nicholson to Jared Leto. Recently, eternity Star Barry Keoghan was heard voicing the character in Batmanand the newly released deleted scene offered a closer look at what he thinks of the Clown Prince of Crime. When it comes to casting fans on the Joker part, there’s one actor we didn’t know we needed for the role. Jurassic World: Dominion Superstar Jeff Goldblum took to Instagram this week to showcase his Joker costume.
“Get a guy who can do both…from Dad’s birthday party on Saturday to Oscar Sunday,” Goldblum wrote. 🤡😎. You can check out the image in his post below:
As for the future of the Joker, Batman Director Matt Reeves previously said he doesn’t bother with a sequel with his Joker scene. This week also saw the news of Phoenix’s follow-up Joker It will likely take longer than expected because writer/director Todd Phillips has not submitted a draft for the sequel yet.
As for the Jurassic World: DominionGoldblum will meet with him Jurassic Park Co-stars, Laroa Dern and Sam Neill. In a previous interview, director Colin Trevorrow explained why they waited so long to bring back the original trio.
“This is the movie I’ve been waiting to make since the beginning,” Trevorrow told reporters. “It’s the movie that we’ve spent the last two movies building. It was really part of a bigger story and part of the design. And I think people would probably underestimate the size and importance of the Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum characters in this movie. It’s very much a squad, and that [includes] Being able to take these beloved characters from nearly 30 years now, and understand how they interact with each other in the context of a world we’ve never really seen before, and haven’t been able to witness until now. It’s very exciting to me. I’m having the time of my life.”
