MCU hero killed two amazing villains with one hit

Warning: The following article contains spoilers for the Dark Ages #6. Blade may not have actually appeared in a Marvel Studios project yet, but that hasn’t stopped Daywalker from making a huge impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mahershala Ali can be heard talking to Kit Harington’s Dane Whitman in a post-credits scene in the 2021 movie Eternals, and now the hero helps save Earth in Marvel’s Dark Ages chain of events. The evil X-Men Apocalypse has a sinister plan that will destroy the planet, but Bladean and a group of heroes unite to stop him. During the battle, Blade not only killed Apocalypse, but also his longtime enemy Dracula – and he does it all with one stroke of his sword.

Dark Ages Number 6 by Tom Taylor, Iban Coelho, Brian Reaper, and Joe Sabino from VC is the latest installment of the series. The heroes succeed in thwarting the apocalypse and saving their mind-controlling friends. Apocalypse’s plan includes shutting down the EMP at the center of the Earth that keeps Unmaker at bay. Of course, once these electromagnetic pulses were originally triggered, all electricity on the planet was wiped out. Thanks to the powers of the Purple Man, the apocalypse has forced some of the Marvel Universe’s greatest minds to work on a solution that would allow him to take over the Unmaker’s body, while also destroying Earth.

When it comes to the final battle, Apocalypse sends a team of heroes under the control of the Purple Man to battle their friends: Captain America, Beast, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Dracula, Cyclops, Psylocke, and Shuri. The fight did not last long, as Deadpool killed the Violet Man with a gunshot to the head. With mind control broken, Dr. Dom tells Dracula his plan to defeat the apocalypse. Part of that plan features Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman, using her powers to create a small force field around Apocalypse’s frontal lobe so he can’t use his power. All that remains is for Dracula to take a bite out of the apocalypse’s neck to turn him into a vampire. Since Blade is a vampire hunter, he killed two birds with one powerful blade.

With their heads no longer connected to their bodies, Apocalypse and Dracula begin to turn to dust. Our heroes reunite with loved ones, and the post-apocalyptic world can finally begin the process of rebuilding. Dark Ages He’s got some hitters like Captain Marvel, Storm, She-Hulk, and Invisible Woman, but it’s street level hero Blade who deals the final blow to end Apocalypse’s reign of terror.

MCU fans are wondering when to see Mahershala Ali as Blade. Marvel Studios is already teasing a team between Blade and the Black Knight. Ali said last year empire That it was kind of intimidating to have his first appearance in the MCU where Blade relies only on the sound of his voice:

“It was really cool, doing that,” Ali said. “It was scary. Because, you know, you talk before you shoot it. I’m very particular about my choices, like most actors, and so I had to do some Options – even with a line, phonetically – in this early it raised some real anxiety. And it made the job real. It’s like, “Okay, it’s happening now,” you know, and that’s exciting. “
