Nintendo Switch Online Surprises Fans With Stealth Super Nintendo Editions

Last night, Nintendo revealed three new additions to the SNES and NES apps from Nintendo Switch Online. However, once the apps were updated, users noticed that Earthworm C 2 It wasn’t the only new addition to the SNES app! Nintendo also added two “SP” versions of Super punch!! And the Super Mario World. The special editions of the two games allow players to enjoy all the unlocked content right from the start. It’s a great way for gamers to experience all that these games have to offer, even if they don’t have the time to unlock everything.

These SP versions were fairly popular on the Nintendo Switch Online. On the SNES app, both Super Metroid And the Super Mario Kart Both previously received versions of SP. On the NES app, there were even more shows, including SP versions of Super Mario Bros. 3And the Kirby’s AdventureAnd the Zelda II: The Adventure of LinkAnd the Mr. Blaster, and more. It’s not a very important thing, but it does give players something extra to score!

It’s unclear why Nintendo didn’t include these SP versions in its announcement, but it should prove to be a great plus for subscribers. Nintendo Switch Online has built a respectable library over the past few years, and while there may not be many games fans will love, it’s hard to overstate the number of quality games that subscribers can play. Both the NES and SNES have great libraries, and now those with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack can check out games first released on the Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis.

We hope to continue to see a steady stream of content for all of these consoles over the coming years. There were rumors that Nintendo could add more earlier systems in the future, including the Game Boy. That would be great for sure, but for now, fans will have to make do with what’s currently available!
