Disney+ removes Luke Cage episode in honor of late actor Reg E. Catey

However, some changes have been made, and Luke Cage Show host Cheo Hodari Coker is very upset with one of them. It turns out that Disney+ removed the tribute to actor Reg E. Cathey from the final episode of Luke Cage Season 2 and Coker took to social media to share his displeasure.

“I mean, why is that? Reg E Catey was part of the heart and soul of season two,” Coker Books. “We didn’t feel compelled to dedicate the season to him just because he passed away – we felt obligated because we loved him, and he was a driving force.”

Cathy played Luke Cage’s father, James Lucas, in the second season of the series, but he passed away a few months before the first season came out on Netflix in 2018.
