Amazon’s Prime Video has released a trailer for the second season of prairie And this time, it wasn’t just the girls stranded on a deserted island. As said in the first season finale, there’s also an island of boys who also undergo the same complex social experience and in the new trailer we can finally see the second group of survivors – as well as their evolution as they try to stay alive.
In the first season of prairie, a group of girls from different backgrounds find themselves stranded on a deserted tropical island after their plan is disrupted, forcing them to fight to survive. However, it turns out that the whole thing was staged as part of a social experiment, something the girls learned at the end of season one. But they still don’t have a way away from the island and Season 2 won’t see the girls. They only wrestle with the fact that no one is coming to their rescue and that they have not found a way to escape, but the strange sounds they hear make them think that they may not be alone.
The official season synopsis reads: “Survival in the balance for a group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, after the explosive discovery that what happens to them is an elaborate social experiment.” “Season 2 ramps up the drama and keeps you guessing, while introducing more experimental subjects – a new island of teenage boys – who also have to fight for survival under the watchful eye of a puppet master into the experience.”
