Harry Payton wrote Young Justice Season 4 Episode “Leviathan Wakes”.

Boyah! Harry Payton received his first writing credit in the second half of young justice Season 4. The teen titans The Cyborg star, who voiced Kaldor (aka Aquaman, formerly Aqualad) on DC’s animated superhero series, writes and stars in episode 417, “Leviathan Wakes,” which airs April 7 on HBO Max. Payton revealed the news on Twitter with shouts of Youth Justice: Ghosts Producer/presenter Greg Wiseman, co-developer and executive producer Brandon Fetty, and writer My Kat.

Payton tweeted on Wednesday: “Kaldor grabs his pens. Thanks Greg_Weisman and BrandonVietti for the mentorship and opportunity. I’m so grateful and more than a little proud.” “Can’t wait to see it. Shoutout to MaeCatt for being so cool for the novice in the room.”

Fenton Hyuk, who recently directed Season 4’s “Nautical Twilight”, has directed the Payton-scripted episode featuring Delvis (Tia Sircar), Lagoon Boy (Yuri Lowenthal), Wind (Ruby Diamond), royal couple Queen Mera (Cath Souci) and High King Oren ( Phil Lamar).

Also on Wednesday, DC Comics announced its first six-issue digital mini-series Youth of Justice: Objectiveswritten by Wiseman with art by storyboard artist Christopher Jones, to compliment the story Youth of Justice: Ghosts.

In the new series that debuted on the DC Universe Infinite on June 14 (in stores pictured on July 26), Queen Perdita is kidnapped. Mysterious armored assailants snatched the Vlatavan Royal Family from under Pohunter’s security, leaving Green Arrow and Black Canary in a coma in the process. Now a rallying cry reverberates around the world, and across the super teams, to band together and save Perdita.
