Arsenal have been advised to avoid making a summer move for misguided Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford as he is not fit for their new star striker.

Under Ralf Rangnick, the 24-year-old has scored just five goals in all competitions so far this season, compared to 21 and 22 in each of his two full seasons under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rashford’s future is uncertain, with his current contract expiring after this season, but former Arsenal striker Eduardo is hoping the club will look elsewhere for a new striker.

“Marcus Rashford is one of the names associated with Arsenal this summer,” said Eduardo, speaking exclusively to Ladbrokes when launching their five-a-side bet on Crystal Palace against Arsenal. But as number nine, is he the right player for the job? no not like that.

“He doesn’t want to be a striker for Manchester United, so why would Arsenal sign him as a striker if they needed him?” I’m not sure he can do the job Arsenal are asking of him.

“It’s hard to invite you because sometimes old people come to Arsenal and things are not going well; see Willian, David Luiz and others.”

Eduardo, who scored 21 goals for Arsenal between 2007 and 2010, was primarily a central striker but has also been a favorite on both wings and in the striking midfield during his career.

Rashford, on the other hand, has 146 places on the left wing, 38 on the right, and 120 on the center front.

On the left contributes 0.54 calm, while in the middle contributes 0.51 and the right contributes 0.44.

Arsenal are looking for a new striker after the fall of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nkete’s contracts on the verge of expiring.

“I’m not a coach, I’m not oversized, so I can only comment on what I see as very good,” Eduardo said of Arsenal’s business plans in general. “As any big club, Arsenal should always look to bring in the best players in the world.”

“Each post in the field should be a pillar, with one senior officer or post signing for each pillar.”

“For Arsenal, the future is to improve the competition for positions and increase depth.”
