Preview of unfinished outdoor works reveals bootable Cad Bane

Fantasy Flight Games delighted a few Star Wars fans when they revealed an upcoming expansion of Star Wars: Outer Rim titled Unfinished Business, although they didn’t share that many details with the official announcement. Now Fantasy Flight reveals more In-Depth Preview From the expansion, which will double the number of cards in the game and introduce new features, more encounters, more characters to meet and play as well as the major addition of Core Worlds to the game board.

Core Worlds take place at the ends of the board, and in addition to containing new planets, they also act as fast travel points so that players can go from one end of the board to the other. Now, traveling across the board with these things has risks, as the Core Worlds are under the Empire’s control, and if you have a negative reputation with the Imperial forces, you can expect them to challenge you when traveling.

There will be a host of fan-favorite characters from the base game that are now fully playable, including Chewbacca, Dengar, and Hera Syndulla, but there will also be new playable characters like famous bounty hunter Cad Bane. There are also new contact codes and tags that allow characters in the base game to face off in unfinished business, and you can even make characters like Han Solo and Boba Fest part of your crew.

This makes the world of Outer Rim more complex, as if a player character’s connection code is revealed, you won’t be able to use that to achieve a bonus on that character. Instead, you’ll need to get into a fight with that player and win if you want to collect the bonus, which comes with its own rewards. There are also optional rules that can make the game more interesting, such as debt tokens that represent future advantages between players, or Ambitions, which offer a set of objectives that you must complete to win the game.

We can’t wait to check out what unfinished business is adding to the external version, and you can Pre-order the expansion nowwhich is scheduled to ship on June 10.
