X-Force, Deadpool and Kraven the Hunter enter Marvel’s Judgment Day

Kraven the Hunter shoots the X-Force in a tie with Marvel’s Doomsday chain of events. Coming on the journey is Deadpool, who will also join the Wolverine solo series in the X-Men Destiny of X era. NewsaramaJuly xforce #30 Writer Benjamin Percy and artist Robert Gill begins the story of a new arc “The Hunt for X” which is associated with Avengers/X-Men/eternity Crossing AX: Doomsday. Deadpool is no stranger to the X-Force, as the team needs reinforcements after dealing with the fallout from the second annual Hellfire Gala and the start of Doomsday.

“Since the dawn of Krakow, mutants have faced many threats — assassins, political rivalries, phone contagion, sea monsters, multi-dimensional wars, AI opponents, time-traveling troublemakers (I can go on) — but there has always been an uneasy feeling,” Percy said. To Newsarama “they might have a way out.” The writer also neglected to mention how Craven was getting into the story.

Percy continued, “Maybe Moira can reset the timeline or perhaps death can be resolved through resurrection or or. But now—with Judgment Day—we’ve entered a whole other category of crisis. This happened on the extinction level. Not just for mutants, but for humanity.” It’s always fun to play with a thorny, high-risk situation like this. Doubly so when my favorite Marvel villain – Kraven – is involved. X-Force will have its hands full.”
