earlier this week, Sabrina’s Spooky Adventures Star Kiernan Shipka told ComicBook.com that she will “seize the opportunity” to reprise her role as Sabrina Spellman, and it looks like Shipka won’t have to wait long to make the leap. to me TVLineShipka will return to Riverdale As a witch later in the season. Details about the return were not disclosed.
Shipka first filmed Sabrina on Netflix’s Sabrina’s Spooky Adventures which ran for four seasons and her career ended in 2020. Sabrina finally made it Riverdale The much-anticipated crossover debuted during the five-episode “Rivervale” event earlier this season. That episode saw Sabrina help her friend Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) in a spell. Now, however, Cheryl is possessed by her predecessor Abigail and magic of all kinds is in town, so the door is definitely wide open for Sabrina to land him again.
“I don’t think it’s a small or a big issue. I think it was an issue… It was really fun for me to get back in her shoes because I haven’t done them in two years,” Shipka told ComicBook.com regarding his experience returning to the role. “I was surprised how quickly I took it over again. It was like riding a bike and you never know about that kind of thing. I never played with someone and then I didn’t play, and then I came back and did it again. So this was something new to me. I didn’t know how that would work, and I was just like, ‘Oh, this fits like a glove.’ It was so much fun.”
Recently, Shipka expressed how much she loves playing the character and why she always welcomes the chance to play her — or, in her words, “She wouldn’t turn down another opportunity to let her loose.”
“Maybe somewhere in between. I love Sabrina and will always jump at the chance to come back into this role, I didn’t necessarily feel like I was shutting down something completely. I love her and she’s an important part of my life too. So, for sure, for the foreseeable future, I wouldn’t turn down an opportunity Another to put on a headband.”
