The CW has released images for “Chapter One Hundred and Four: The Snake Queen’s Gambit,” the ninth episode of RiverdaleSixth season. The episode will air on Sunday, April 10. A new face has recently arrived in Riverdale, the face of Percival Pickens, descendant of Riverdale’s founding father General Pickens and the shape of the right leap, Archie and the company suspect Percival may have something up his sleeve when it comes to his plans for Riverdale. Based on the episode synopsis, it appears that this is indeed the case. Percival will announce that he plans to get rid of the town’s gangs – including snakes. “Percival Moves In – Suspecting that Percival (guest star Chris O’Shea) is about to make a big play, Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart), and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) warn their friends of his potential threat to the city. Meanwhile, Tony (Vanessa Morgan) also finds herself a target after Percival announces his plans to rid the town of gangs, including snakes. Finally, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) makes her move against Archie, Betty, and Jughead. It also stars Camila Mendes, Madchen Amick, Casey Cott, Charles Melton, Erin Westbrook, and Drew Ray Tanner. The episode was directed by Antonio Negret, written by Danielle Iman.
