It seems that the disclosure announcement Kingdom Hearts 4 You may have confirmed the addition of a world based on Star Wars. Ever since Disney acquired Star Wars all the way back in 2012, Kingdom Hearts fans have been dreaming of the day when they could transcend the sci-fi series with the Square Enix RPG franchise. and while Kingdom Hearts 3 He didn’t end up fulfilling that dream, it seems pretty much Kingdom Hearts 4 She can finally take Sora and her friends to a galaxy far, far away.
Not long after the initial trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 Released this morning, fans were quick to notice what appears to be a Star Wars callback. Specifically, in a portion of the trailer briefly showing the jungle environment, the foot of an AT-ST vehicle from Star Wars appears to be in the background. AT-ST is an infantry-like vehicle controlled by the Empire that appears in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Considering that the AT-STs in this movie also appear on Endor, a forest based planet, it pretty much looks like this could be a nuisance to the Star Wars universe within Kingdom Hearts 4.

One of the reasons it makes sense for a Star Wars-based universe to appear Kingdom Hearts 4 That’s because LucasFilm Games, the Star Wars licencee when it comes to video games, has been willing to let a number of developers work with IP in recent years. While Electronic Arts has been the only publisher to have worked with Star Wars over the past few years, other companies such as Ubisoft and Quantic Dream have since announced projects from their own collection in This World. As such, it seems likely that Square Enix will now be able to work out a deal to bring Star Wars to Kingdom Hearts 4.
