Although previously stated that services will resume this weekend (April 9-10), P&O Ferries has suspended it.

However, the company announced today (April 8) that flights will be canceled and advised customers to book with another operator in an online update.
“All P&O Ferries Passenger services have been suspended for this weekend,” she wrote on the P&O Updates Twitter account. Please rebook with another operator before arriving at the port for travel on 8, 9 and 10 April.
“DFDS will not be able to transfer P&O customers to their services.”

Trevor Bartlett, president of Dover County Council, said the borough “will not tolerate another weekend of deadlock” in an open letter.
“We will be monitoring the situation closely throughout the weekend, and I would not hesitate to authorize CDC officers to declare a major accident if we see signs of the kind of crowding we saw last weekend,” Mr. Bartlett said.
