Watch Dogs Gets Its Own Manga

Watch Dogs has become one of Ubitsoft’s best-selling franchises to date, and now, the video game series looks set to expand. After all, a new report has been released that says Watch Dogs Tokyo is looming. But this time, the story will take place in the form of a manga rather than a full game.

The update comes from Kurage Bunch where the publisher has shared plans to put Watch Dogs Tokyo as an online exclusive. The series will release its first chapter overseas on April 12, and it has enlisted two talented creators to bring its story to life. Shirato Seiichi will write the story while Kamo Syuhei from Gangsta: Cursed will oversee its art.

At this point, fans know very little about Watch Dogs Tokyo, but video game fans are ready to watch the series take on a new pose. Watch Dogs’ first entry is set in a fictional setting in Chicago before the game’s sequel takes fans to San Francisco. The series left the US with Watch Dogs: Legion in 2020, and fans were allowed to explore London. Now, this manga will give gaming a chance to see how hacker organizations thrive in Japan.

It’s easy to see why Watch Dogs want to explore their world a little more. The game’s story has been praised by fans time and time again, after all. The novel this time is Watch Dogs manga. By writing a story, Watch Dogs fans can get all the updates they want in the manga as it is much cheaper to publish a short digital series of a console game. And if this story is any good, we can only hope that you’ll delve deeper into Ubisoft in its next game!
