The Master Chief Collection is getting a massive update that adds a new game mode

343 Industries today released a fundamental new patch for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. While many Halo fans may currently focus on infinite aura Or the ongoing Paramount + TV program, 343 continued to make further improvements to Master Chef Group, although the game’s seasonal content ended last year. As of today, new additions to the game have included a new game mode and the addition of crossover features.

After a tease a few days ago, Halo: The Master Chief Collection Now added FloodFight to Halo 3: ODST section of the game. FloodFight is a variant of ODST A Firefight mode that sees players do battle with Flood, the type of enemy he first appeared in combat evolution. To go along with FloodFight which has now been added to Master Chef Group343 also made a number of additional improvements to the game mode to make it much better overall.

While this update to Halo: The Master Chief Collection It does a lot, the other big plus is the cross-play of Halo 3 And Halo 3: ODST. This means that players across Xbox and PC can now play these two campaigns with each other, something that fans have been asking for for some time. 343 notes that all bugs with cross-play Halo 3 And ODST It may not be crushed yet, though, which means there may be some lingering issues.
