Twilight Star reveals they almost quit before the Breaking Dawn movies

While the final movie may only take a few hours when it’s on screen, the time taken to make the movie is much longer – and not just in terms of editing and post-production. The actual work of shooting movies can take a lot of time, which can mean many hours in shooting mode for everyone involved and for twilight Star Kellan Lutz, it was the length of time he had to put full makeup on on the set of movies that almost got him quitting before Breaking Dawn. While recently appearing on Twilight effect podcast (via ScreenRant), hosted by Lutz’s fellow Twilight co-star Ashley Greene and Twilight fan Melanie Howe, revealed that the downtime was just too big.

“I was happy to be there, especially at twilightLutz said. Obviously, as the other movies progressed and we had to wait, I almost didn’t do the Breaking Dawn movies because I was like, “Guys, mentally I need to do something” and that was stressful. I only have one life, and if I lived to be 30, I only had two months to live [waiting on set]. “But all the money you make?” said my agent. And I love, you can’t take it with you. I really don’t care about money. I’ve worked enough. I’m grateful we made the movies, but it got to the point where my passion, the twinkle in my eyes no longer exist and it’s unsettling when you fall in love with what you’re doing.”

It’s no big surprise that Lutz struggled with hiatus in twilight Movies When you think about the project it came from for the movies. Lutz explained earlier in the interview that he had just exited from the series Generation Kill that followed a Rolling Stone reporter on the front lines of Baghdad in 2003. That series, which starred Alexander Skarsgård, James Ranson, and Lee Targsen, was largely a different experience than Twilight And Lutz and the rest of the actors who filmed the series are very active in South Africa. Ultimately, Lutz committed to the Twilight franchise and appeared in the Breaking Dawn films. Lutz made it clear that he stuck it out to fans.

The full Twilight Saga is currently streaming on Hulu for the month of April.
