It has been providing some great entertainment to fans in the burlesque world over the years. from This is Spinal Tap to What do we do in the shade?We’ve seen everything from music to vampires skewers in a fun way.
One of the most recent efforts of this kind that requires our attention is Abbott Elementary School.
Created by Quinta Bronson for ABC, the American sitcom features a select group of designer teachers working at a Philadelphia public school, giving them everything they have to educate young people.
The pilot debuted in December 2021, and after the season ended, thoughts turned to the second season of Abbott Elementary School.
Has Abbott Elementary School been renewed for the second season?
Yes, ABC renewed Abbott Elementary School for a second season in March 2022.
The first season consists of 13 episodes and the season finale – titled Zoo Balloon – premiered on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
It’s perhaps not surprising that it is being revamped when you consider the performance of the show.
Limit Abbott Elementary is reported to be ABC’s best new comedy in two years in terms of adult viewership from 18-49, as well as being the #1 comedy of the season – tied for ghosts In adults of the same age group.
A release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but rest assured we’ll be back at Abbott down the line.

‘Are we surprised?’ No, we are not
The news was announced on March 14, 2022 on Twitter courtesy of Director Coleman’s office:
“The camera crew I hired to showcase everything I made at our beautiful school thinks I’m a superstar. I mean, are we surprised? Annan’t. With that, I’m so glad to share that they’re back for the 2022-2023 school year! That’s right – Abbott Elementary School Season 2 Coming to a screen near you.”
The note also adds that “this stuff doesn’t come for free” with a call to fans: “If you’re interested in supporting them and our community of little mind makers, please visit DonorsChoose.org.”
