One Piece: Red released its first trailer, and while it gave us a new look for Luffy, Shanks, and a cadre of other unnamed characters, it also introduced the footage for Grand Line fans to Ulta, the “absolute diva” who happens to be Shanks’ daughter. With a hair style that looks like it was taken from Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia, it looks like Ulta has a voice that can “change the world” although it’s still a question of whether she’ll be good or evil or not.
One Piece: Reds The story was a great mystery as the Straw Hats were fighting inside Wano Country during the war for the Wano Arc, trying to take down Kaido and his monster pirates. While we’re unable to see what Luffy’s new look will be in this upcoming 15th movie, it looks like he’s definitely going to take up arms against an unknown threat. With Ultra’s voice being sold as something that will “change the world,” it will be interesting to see how much of a role Shanks has to play in the actions or whether his daughter will do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to contacting Luffy and his crew.

1 piece: red It’s set to arrive August 6 in theaters in Japan, with a North American release yet to be revealed by Toei Animation. With the previous movie in the series, One Piece: Stampede, released during a similar time in Japan, that movie was released in October of the same year for North America, so perhaps the same is true for the movie focusing on Shanks’ comeback.
