Especially with the recent entries in The Fast and the Furious A franchise, the series continues to make its action sequences more impressive and complex, although producer Neil Moretz recently indicated that he thinks the series could actually benefit from getting smaller and more intimate. Whether or not other creators involved in the series would agree with this view, or whether fans would support such a hub, has yet to be seen, although Moretz believes he’s personally excited by going in directions no one would expect. next entry in the series, Fast and Furious 10It is expected to land in theaters on April 7, 2023.
“Honestly, I think going forward I would like to get smaller,” Moretz revealed The City with Matthew Belloni. “And I’d kind of like to start back to where we started. I think that’s a fun way to go. I like zigzagging and sliding. I like to try to do something different and I think that’s what the public is asking these days.”
The first four films in the series were mostly primary endeavors, although they did feature a number of impressive sequences. fast 5 Taking action to new heights, thanks in large part to a sequence in the epilogue featuring a massive vault being dragged through city streets, with each subsequent installment amplifying the action. The events of the films escalated to the point that fans wondered if the series would eventually travel to space, which to some extent did. F9.
Fast and Furious 11 The last entry in the franchise is slated to be proper and is expected to land in theaters in 2024, leaving fans wondering what might happen in the franchise after this movie is released. Moretz didn’t specify exactly what was in store for him, noting his approach to each entry, “Let’s make a great movie and then we’ll find out the next movie.”
The series has already had a sequel one with Fast and Furious Gifts: Hobbs and Shaw, with the filmmakers behind this project claiming that a sequel has been developed. A show focused on female characters has also been announced, although a release date has yet to be set.
In this regard, Moretz is likely to think less about sequels getting smaller and more about how the franchise will be able to reinvent itself after it approaches its expected closure in 2024.
