One Piece Animation for fans to imagine Luffy/Kaido fighting in Cuphead style

The War for Wano Country continues in both the anime and manga for One pieceLuffy recently acquired a completely new Gear Fifth transformation in the printed story, creating a completely different battle between the captain of the Straw Hats and the captain of the Beast Pirates, Kaido. As the brutal battle continues, one fan animator has re-created the battle between faltering captains in the style of Cuphead, the critically acclaimed video game that introduces fans to the likes of Cuphead and Mugman in early 20th century animation style.

With Luffy’s latest transformation, the captain of the Straw Hats has been transformed into a human cartoon, seemingly able to resize him to whatever he wants, while also being able to transform his surroundings to get the rubber stuff out. While Monkey has yet to score a final victory against Kaido, having lost every time the Straw Hat captain tests his power against a Pirate Dragon, this final battle in his new form seems to have earned him a victory in the end. With Cuphead seemingly having a style in line with Luffy’s Gear Fifth, this definitely makes for an amazing animation.

A Reddit user shared a fan animation that sees Luffy at his height, Gear Fifth, defeating Kaido as a dragon, while the war for Wano continues with the fate of the isolated country in the balance and Monkey and his crew trying to fulfill the dreams of Kozuki Oden and the people of Wano:
