Star Wars fans rejoiced at the possible release of Visions for 2022

Rumors spread that not only did the first anime expedition into the Star Wars universe, Star Wars: Visions, is bringing a second season, but it could drop this year, as fans wrap their heads around the return of the popular anime anthology. With a number of different animation studios taking the opportunity to dive into a galaxy far, far away, the anthology TV show was the first time Star Wars had been adapted into an anime medium, but it certainly looks as though it won’t be the last.

In an exclusive interview with Producer James Waugh in a previous article for Comicbook.com, he broke the creators’ love of the franchise and their initial ideas in creating the anthology series:

“This really started out of love. I have to be honest. The anime has really affected a lot of us at Lucasfilm. We’re all fans. I think you can see that as a person star Wars Like, you probably see that in a lot of the animation work and a lot of the work that we do across the board. So I think we’ve always loved the idea of โ€‹โ€‹that. and just see star Wars Expressed in a 2D style very specific to Japan was something we felt would be amazing. He does not need to think. The challenge is. what do you work? And what’s the story?

In the end, we wanted to do this for a long time. We didn’t know how to do it. Then Disney+ became a reality. And with Disney+, we’ve had to really rethink what it means to tell the Star Wars story, and what opportunities do we have to explore Star Wars in ways we haven’t thought of in our more feature-based model? “

Do you think we’ll see Star Wars: Visions Back this year? Feel free to tell us in the comments or hit me up live on Twitter @EVComedy to talk about all things comedy, anime, and the Star Wars universe.
