Rockstar Games fans have noticed that the popular developer has apparently removed transphobic content from Grand Theft Auto V With the re-release of Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5. The new version of Grand Theft Auto V It’s not a giant leap from the previous version, but it’s probably the best way to experience Rockstar. It includes a number of visual improvements such as new effects, 4K resolution, 60 frames per second, and more, but it’s generally the same game as before. Many were disappointed with the lack of new changes and additions, but it also appears that Rockstar has made a change that they haven’t announced directly.
It appears that Rockstar Games have removed the disastrous content from the game. In previous releases, there were passing cartoons and “drag queens” outside a place called Cockatoo, which is located next to Los Santos customs near Michael’s house (via Kirsty Cloud). Characters will appear there and heroes in the single-player campaign will make inappropriate comments towards them that could be considered transgender-hate. These non-playable characters and said dialogue have drawn criticism in recent years and are considered outdated by some players. Their NPCs still appear in the game’s director mode, which allows players to view scenes and record videos as they like. Although this version is only available on current generation consoles, the ESRB has leaked this new version of GTA 5 Coming to PC. We have reached out to Rockstar Games for comment, but they have not responded in time to post.
The models are still in director mode for now, but their dialogue options have been removed (presumably this means that these NPCs’ hero dialogue lines about using hormones etc. aren’t used now either).

As of now, it is not explicitly clear if they were removed from the game or if they reproduced properly. If they were removed, it is also not clear whether it was intentional or a mistake. Known for their exciting content, Rockstar Games have managed to walk the line in a lot of controversy over the years. Grand Theft Auto V It attracted mainstream media attention upon its release for featuring a playable torture sequence in the campaign, but the mission was left in tact for all of its re-releases.
