Jujutsu Kisen Fans have been stunned by the unveiling of an unexpected culling fighter with an eerie grit in the new chapter of the series! Gege Akutami’s original manga series explored the chaos of Culling, and reached the climax of Yuta Okkotsu’s fights in Sendai Colony. Much like how fans were able to see Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro’s first major victories before shifting focus to a different character, the end of the Yuta Battle means fans will now be watching how someone else was making their way through the Culling game. far.
The new chapter of the series officially ends Yuta battles in Sendai Colony, but before we meet some of the other contestants in the other colonies, fans get a brief update on some of the other contestants in the tournament so far. One intriguing find is a sneak peek at a fighter fans didn’t expect to see involved, Kasumi Miwa, who has such a tough look that she’s likely to eliminate many opponents in a culling game up to this point. Chapter 181 for Jujutsu Kisen It begins with the final moments of the fight between Yuta and Ryu Ishigori, and the two bond after their fight. Ishigori found himself satisfied after losing, and thanks to the recent rule change, Hiromi Higuruma’s help on Yuji, Yuta didn’t have to completely kill Takako Uro or Ryu so they could give him their points. With the update on Yuta Points, one shot of Miwa can be seen making her way through a broken street before the series turns completely into the next Kinji Hakari fight in Tokyo Colony No. 2.
Participation is largely voluntary in Culling (Yuji and Megumi were essentially forced to participate in it to save Megumi’s sister, for example), so Miwa’s inclusion immediately raised some questions about her motives as to why. He not only raises questions about other potential Kyoto school members, but also makes her more prominent as a character. No one says exactly where she is in the colonies, and it’s very likely that she will encounter one of the other very soon. So we’ll see what it really is next.
