Watch Danny Elfman and Orchestra perform the Spider-Man theme at Coachella

After a two-year hiatus, Coachella is back at the Empire Polo Club again for its massive two-week event. Over the past few years—when the event took place, that is)—the music and arts festival has invited some of Hollywood’s most famous composers to perform, and this year, the festival has hired Danny Elfman. The composer of a hundred or so films ended up Elfman and his accompanying orchestra playing various themes originally written by the composer.

For fans of his collaboration with Sam Raimi, that means that yes, he and his friends happened to perform the theme for Mehboob Raimi. Spider Man triple. You can watch that below.

Elfman is no stranger to the world of superheroes, especially the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some of his credits include superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron And Justice Squad. Before long at all, fans will also be able to hear his work on Remy Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness.

“I’ve started doing some preparatory work for Dr. Strange 2, which was directed by Sam Raimi,” the musician said of the film last year. “Even though I haven’t started playing it for a few months, there are bits of recorded music that they need for the sets.”

The composer also happens to be a frequent collaborator with Tim Burton, where he scored the filmmaker’s first stab at Caped Crusader.

Batman He was so exhausted – exhausted almost to a nervous breakdown, Elfman once revealed to New York Post. “All I did up until that point was weird comedy. Nobody wanted me but Tim in the movie. I really had to prove myself. There was a desire to collaborate with Prince [who wrote additional music for the film]But I wasn’t open to that.”

The official Disney synopsis of the movie can be found below.

“To restore a world in which everything is changing, Strange enlists the help of his ally Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme, and the most powerful Scarlet Witch of the Avengers, Wanda. But a terrible threat looms over humanity and the entire universe that can no longer be done with their power alone. And what is most surprising is is that the greatest threat in the universe looks just like Doctor Strange.”
