Black Clover is said to be planning a hiatus ‘indefinitely’

Black Clover has worked through one of its longest arcs over the past year, and in the end, it looks like the manga is ready to move on. After all, this week the series premiered with a new chapter, and it was there that readers watched Lucifero’s fight with Asta and the gang ended. The bloody war has hurt some of our favorite heroes, with one contestant even welcoming one of the heroines’ belated love confessions. But if the new report is correct, well – Black Clover will take a hiatus before heading into a new arc.

The update comes from WSJ_Manga and others after publishing the news from the new issue of Shonen Jump on social media. Netizens have been told that Black Clover appears to be preparing for a hiatus. At the moment, there is no official confirmation of the crack, but Shonen Jump will definitely clarify the situation when the new version is published this weekend.

If the report is correct, Weekly Shonen Jump #23 will start the downtime. There is no set date for the manga’s return, so Black Clover may be out of print for an indefinite period. Given how diligent its creator has been to post it, you can’t blame Yuki Tabata for needing a break. The artist worked incredibly hard with the Battle of Lucifero, so Tabata needs to enjoy an extended vacation with his family to celebrate.

Of course, fans are curious to see where Black Clover goes once this gap is over. The series with its demons isn’t over yet, you know? Readers hope Black Clover continues with more arcs before the store closes. So if anyone else wants to confess their love, they better do it while they have the chance!
