Another Marvel Studios show will be in production soon. Wednesday, sound echo Actress Alaqua Cox posted an Instagram story revealing that production of the Disney+ series will begin Thursday. The majority of his episodes are expected to be filmed in and around Atlanta, including some small towns outside the metro to get a feel on a small scale.
“[Devery Jacobs] Deciding to surprise you with these pretty flowers before the first day of filming tomorrow,” Cox shared her story along with a beautiful bouquet of white roses.
Interestingly, the message included with the flowers from Jacobs indicates that the actor will also appear in the series. Jacobs appeared on the first season of FX’s popular show Reservation Dogs, and is set to reprise her role—as well as join the writer’s room—for the show’s second season. So far, Jacobs’ participation in the Marvel series has not been revealed. Coincidentally, Reservation Dogs Sydney Freeland alumni are expected to direct at least a few Echo episodes.
“It’s crazy to get my own show after that. hook. This was like my first acting role ever,” Cox said previously of her role in the MCU. I don’t know why they give me this opportunity, but I am just grateful. I am passionate about supporting and being able to advocate for the deaf community. We want to achieve this equality and get more people involved. I am so grateful for all the opportunities I had.”
She continued, “It’s crazy how my life really changed because I was a college dropout. I worked in a factory. I’m so excited to show people who I am and what I can do, and what anyone can do.”
