Inside Bates Wood’s touching funeral for Tom Parker, the wanted star was laid to rest

Tom Parker’s funeral was held today (Wednesday, 20 April) in Bates Wood, southeast London.

The star’s funeral took place at 10:45 am today (April 20) at St Francis of Assisi Church in Bates Wood, southeast London.

Three black horses dragged his coffin into a black carriage while Kelsey led the procession, walking in arm with her parents.

Dressed in black, bandmates Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuinness and Nathan Sykes carried the coffin to the chapel.

Colorful flowers spelling the words “Dada” were placed from the children of singer Aurelia and Buddy.

There were also white flowers showing The Wanted’s popular song title “Glad You Cam” and his name “Tom” written in red roses.

Hundreds of fans lined the streets to pay tribute to the beloved singer who was loved all over the world.

The song Champagne Supernova by Oasis was reportedly played while his coffin was entering the church.

The singer was born and raised in Bolton, Greater Manchester, so many expected his funeral to take place there.

However, Tom lived in Bates Wood with his wife Kelsey and two children, which is why he was buried in the city.
