WWE NXT 2.0 announced the first matches of their next main event, NXT Spring Breakin’. It was revealed during the most recent broadcast of NXT 2.0 that the next main event fans can look forward to will be showing up in just two weeks, NXT Spring Breakin’. Confirming that the next specific event is already on the way, the waiver event card started to appear as well. With so many contenders still around the card after the NXT Stand and Deliver events over the weekend of WrestleMania 38, it’s time to move on with the next line of stories.
The first of the new confirmed matches for NXT Spring Breakin was for the North American Championship. After Santos challenged Carmelo Hayes last week for the next right to challenge for the title, and Hayes subsequently defeated Escobar due to a surprise tackle, Hayes ended up being the next to challenge the current North American champion, Cameron Grimes. But he wasn’t the only one, as Solo Sikoa also challenged the Grimes and now has turned into a triple threat match.

With Grimes defeating Solo Sikoa and Carmelo Hayes during NXT Stand and Deliver, this triple threat match for the North American title at NXT Spring Breakin’ will settle this feud in an even more decisive one-on-one showdown. As for the NXT Main Championship, Bron Breakker spent the episode hunting for Joe Gacy but was dodged at every turn. Gacy manipulated Breaker to get him exactly where he wanted him because he still apparently still had WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner in his grasp, but his Hall of Fame ring as well.

At the end of the episode, Breakker finally met Gacy and was able to reclaim the ring on one condition, agreeing to a title match at NXT Spring Breakin’. And so Breaker accepted the challenge, but their match wasn’t officially boosted yet as Gacy ended up pushing Breakker into a dark hole in the last moments of broadcast. Thus, Bricker was surrounded by a circle of hooded characters that surrounded him while Gacy looked absolutely sinister from above. But it’s clear that Gacy will be the next major contender.
