The One Piece series was noticeably absent from the manga’s release schedule last week, but the new release date and time for Chapter 1047 has now been confirmed.
It’s been a chaotic few months for One Piece fans, with the anime adaptation delayed for five straight weeks and a new trailer for the upcoming Red movie.
However, in between all the news, Eiichiro Oda’s manga series has continued to release great chapter after chapter.
Unfortunately, the series was noticeably absent from all of our typical weekend task lists last week, with the release of Chapter 1047 of One Piece pushed back to a new date.

Chapter 1047 of One Piece: Release Date, Time, and Delay
Chapter 1047 of One Piece was sadly absent from Weekly Shonen Jump last week and, after that, has not been released to a domestic or international audience.
The good news is that the gap is included in the schedule, giving Eiichiro Oda a well-deserved break – with confirmation Chapter 1047 of One Piece will now be released worldwide on Sunday, April 24y.
Chapter 1047 will start from the next International Times, as confirmed by the series page at mango plus:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM Pacific Time
- Eastern time – 11 am EST
- British time – 4pm GMT
- European time – 5pm CEST
- India Time – 8:30 PM India Time
- Philippines time – 11 pm Philippine time
- Australia time – 12:30 AM EST
The chapter will be available to read for free on both Viz Media and Manga Plus, along with the first and most recent three installments – subscriptions thereafter will recovery Users $1.99 a month.
Anime series release episode 1015 After a long break for 1014
After a very frustrating hiatus, the movie adaptation of One Piece is finally back on its regular broadcast schedule last week – Episode 1014 released on April 17.y.

Several Toei IPs have been affected by the hack, which has delayed the final episodes of One Piece, Digimon: Ghost Game, Delicious Party, and Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai. The good news is that after an extended absence of five weeks, the movie adaptation of One Piece finally returned last week with episode 1014, Marco’s tears! Whitebeard Pirates League!

One Piece: Red gets a new teaser trailer
The absence of the One Piece manga and the return of the anime adaptation weren’t the only notable news stories last week, with the upcoming Theatrical Red getting a new story. Trailer for a movie.
The trailer doesn’t give much in terms of the plot of One Piece: Red, but it confirmed the long-running fan theory that the new main character is actually Shanks’ daughter!
The character, Uta, is a world famous singer who uses her voice to conceal her true identity. As she prepares to perform in front of a crowded venue, “The excited pirates and navy are closely watching and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who have come to enjoy her resonant performance—the sound the whole world has been waiting for is about to resound.”
