How to access the hidden interactive weather map for your iPhone

The release of iOS 15 last year brought sweeping improvements to Apple’s iPhone operating system. With this important update, many apps installed on the operating system by default have been overhauled, including the popular iPhone Weather app.

Some of these new features are rather hard to miss. For example, we’ve found the colored tape with a small white dot on it handy for the past few months. This point tells you where the current temperature will drop relative to the expected high and low temperatures for the day – the same point can be seen on the UV meter and sunset times.

Of course, the above is a self-explanatory upgrade that can be spotted just by running the latest version of the Weather app. However, you might not know that some of the most useful features added by iOS 15 are actually hidden behind a series of menus.
