The release of iOS 15 last year brought sweeping improvements to Apple’s iPhone operating system. With this important update, many apps installed on the operating system by default have been overhauled, including the popular iPhone Weather app.
Some of these new features are rather hard to miss. For example, we’ve found the colored tape with a small white dot on it handy for the past few months. This point tells you where the current temperature will drop relative to the expected high and low temperatures for the day – the same point can be seen on the UV meter and sunset times.

How to Access the Interactive Map on iPhone Weather
1. Launch the weather app. This should be installed by default on your iPhone. To make sure you have access to the latest features, make sure you have a file The latest version of iOS is installed in the Settings menu.
2. From the home page of the weather app, Click the map icon bottom left of the screen.
3. This will Introducing an interactive weather map. It will be set to display the temperature by default.
4. Tap the three squares icon stacked on top of each other In the upper right corner to switch to a map showing either precipitation or air quality.
5. If you are select precipitationCould you Use the slider at the bottom of the screen to scroll through the forecast for the next 12 hours. This is useful for knowing exactly when and where rain is expected. Note though, that just a prediction may not be entirely accurate.
