Reacher Showrunner reveals disappointing Season 2 update

After achieving record-breaking viewership for Amazon, the original Prime Video series Wasel It returns for the second season to continue the story of the beloved literary character Lee Child. Alan Ritchson will reprise the titular role in the second installment, but he may be the only star to return on another tour. While fans loved many of the characters in Season 1, bringing them back could hurt the character of Jack Reacher, better known as the lonely wanderer.

Wasel Talked to Show Director Nick Santora recently TVLine About the second season of the series. He emphasized that there is always a chance an unknown Jack Reacher could reappear. However, children’s books usually see Reacher working with new characters as he arrives in new places, so the show will likely focus on adding different companions in additional seasons.

“I’ll say this, and I’m not trying to be shy or cute: you never know if the character will come back,” Santora said. “We might come up with a great idea and say, ‘You know what? Maybe this character could work in season two or season three, “and then bring it back for a bit or an extended visit.”

He went on to add, “Reacher is not a character running with an entourage. He’s a lone wolf, so you have to stay true to that.”

There has been no word yet on which Jack Reacher novel will be adapted for the second season of Wasel a series. Season 1 follows killing groundthe first Jack Reacher book, but that doesn’t mean that season two will follow the second book.

“It’s tough. There are 26 [Jack Reacher] Books, then there are the short story anthologies. There are a lot of ideas that must enter into our decision. Do we want it to be similar to Season 1, because Season 1 was a success? Do we want to go a little differently? “There is so much that he gives me to choose from,” Santora said earlier this year.

He added, “The good news is that Lee Child has an executive producer on this show, we have other producers on this show – we have Amazon, we have Skydance, we have Paramount – and we’ll sit down and discuss it. But it’s not a problem when you have a lot of good stuff to choose from. The problem is when you stare into an empty space, you ask, “What am I going to write?”
