Rumors About Elon Musk Deleting Twitter’s Surface
Ironically, the rumors about Elon deleting Twitter started on the platform itself. While there is no clear source for how this news will spread, some of it has to do with the fact that the Tesla owner has previously hinted that he wants to start his own platform.
Before coming up with the idea of buying Twitter, Elon tweeted that he would build a platform where freedom of expression exists. He said, “Given that Twitter serves as a de facto public square for the town, failure to adhere to the principles of free speech fundamentally undermines democracy. What needs to be done?”
As a result, there has been speculation that he will delete Twitter and build a new website or rename the platform.
Will Twitter really delete it?
No, Elon does not intend to delete Twitter. Well, at least he hasn’t said that yet. Since a Tesla owner is always looking to make some changes, we wouldn’t be surprised if he did something shocking.
However, the chances of him deleting the entire platform are much less because Twitter already consists of millions of users and he would be at a loss if he lost them.

Changes Elon would like to make
One of the changes Elon wants to make is freedom of expression. He’s been candid about this the whole time.
He said, “Freedom of expression is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital city arena where matters vital to the future of humanity are discussed.”
He continued, “Twitter has tremendous potential. I look forward to working with the company and the user community to unlock it.”
