GTA 5 I received a brand new update today across all platforms, and while Rockstar didn’t share official patch notes, some data tools have spotted the Enhanced version files in the game’s PC update.
Grand Theft Auto 5 They got an improved version for the new PlayStation and Xbox consoles a few months ago, which was accompanied by some special and unique features like GTA Plus subscription later.

So far, Rockstar Games has been very upfront about the release of Enhanced Edition content and changes for PC, though a huge tip was revealed today with the game’s new update which could almost confirm the optimization patch for PC.

GTA 5 optimized files for PC only need activation from Rockstar Games
Today, Rockstar Games released an update on all platforms for Grand Theft Auto 5. While there are no official patch notes yet, some next-gen gamers have been able to find new features after the update like FOV Slider for consoles. However, the PC version of the game doesn’t seem to change much, although Data Tools spotted the Enhanced version files inside the PC update.
Obviously, this means that PC gamers have already received the Enhanced Edition changes, but they must wait for Rockstar Games to activate the changes after the announcement. While there is no evidence of an activation date, we can assume that Rockstar is talking about the update on Thursday.
Also, it is still unknown if the optimization update will be free or will be at a cost to PC players.
