The new PlayStation Now leak is bad news for PS3 fans in particular hard lime metal fans. A new PS Now leak has revealed that not one or two but 56 games were removed from the subscription service next month before its merger with PS Plus in June. To some extent, this was expected. A decent portion of these are PS3 games, but that’s not bad news. It’s not good news, but the real bad news is that one of these games is out there Metal Gear Solid 4: Patriot RiflesStranded game on PS3. You know, unless you have a PS3 sitting around you can boot, PS Now was the only way to play the game. Come May 17th, that won’t be the case anymore, assuming the leak is accurate, and there’s no reason to doubt its authenticity at the moment.
Of course, if you are not hard lime metal Fans then this bad news is not relevant, but consider Metal Gear Solid 4 It is one of the best games on PS3, and it’s hard to imagine that many of them fall into this camp. The PS3 exclusive was released in 2008 by Hideo Kojima and Konami, and features a whopping 94 hits on Metacritic.
If you are not hard lime metal Fan, you’re not out of the woods yet because it’s not the only PS3 game leaving subscription service next month, the following games or too: Sonic CD, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Altered Beast, Bomberman Ultra, Castlevania Lord of Shadow, Catherine , Comic Zone, Crazy Taxi, Fighting Vipers, Golden Ax, House of the Dead 3 + 4 + Overkill, Metal Gear Rising, Nights to Dreams, Renegade Ops, Sega Bass Fishing, Silent Hill HD Collection, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic 4 Episode 1 + 2, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Generations, Sonic Unleashed, Super Hang On, The Revenge of Shinobi, Virtua Fighter 2 + V, Yakuza 4 + 5, Zeno Clash 2. Some of these games are obviously available in Elsewhere, however, some are similarly stranded on PS3.
