This comes from Redanian Intelligence, which has a strong track record of covering Netflix’s The Witcher franchise, but the rumors are downright categorized as something that can’t be independently verified. This is the log line that Netflix previously provided for The Witcher: The Origin of Blood:
Set in the world of elves 1,200 years before The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a story lost over time – the origin of the first Witcher, and the events leading up to the pivotal ‘Coupling of Balls’, when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.
The show’s announced cast includes Sophia Brown as Elle, Michelle Yeoh as Scían, Laurence Ovoiran as Fjall, Meryn Mac as Merwyn, Lenny Henry as Balor, Jacob Collins-Levy as Eredin, and Lizzie Annis as Zacaré as Zacaré, Huw Novelli as Callan “Brother Death”, Francesca Mills as Meldof, Amy Murray as Fenrik, Nathaniel Curtis as Brían, Zach Wyatt as Syndril, and Dylan Moran as Uthrok One-Nut.
Declan de Barra is the model for The Witcher: The Origin of Blood and executive producer the magician Model Lauren Schmidt Hissrich will serve as executive producer. The Witcher series creator and creator Andrzej Sapkowski will also act as a creative advisor on the series. According to the original trailer for the series, Hivemind’s Jason Brown and Shawn Daniel as well as Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko from Platige Films will also be executive producers.
