She can kick and punch star-shaped portals that allow her to travel between universes, and she has some trust issues. But in this movie, you can see her giving up on that to make a little family.”
The ability to explode through universes would probably come in handy in a movie about the multiverse. As for family development, could it include Kate Bishop and the Young Avengers?
Joe Casey and Nick Dragota created America Chavez for Marvel Comics. Appeared for the first time in the miniseries 2011 Revenge. Gained new popularity as part of Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie’s 2012 movie Young Avengers a series. Since then, she has topped the solo series and is a member of A-Force, Ultimates, West Coast Avengers, and currently Thunderbolts. She has appeared in Marvel animation projects, but Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness It is her first live appearance.
The Native American origin story revealed deep connections to the multiverse. It comes from the utopian parallel universe that exists out of time. The magical energy of the kingdom gave her super powers. When America was a child, its mothers sacrificed themselves to stop the threat of the utopian parallel. This sacrifice spread the essence of her mothers across the multiverse. After becoming a teenager, America decided that she wanted to honor her mothers’ memories by becoming a hero herself. America knew that the utopian parallel, full of other heroes, required no such protection. Instead, America plunged into the multiverse to find its calling.
