What is the SDN List in Ozark Season 4 Part 2 and is it a real thing?

Like many mature dramas that deal with complex criminal schemes and political intrigue, Ozark demands the full focus of its fans as it navigates its many twists and turns.

In Season 4, it’s no different as the Birds look to escape their lives as criminals and set up more legitimate businesses in place of their own money laundering casino.

To do this, they need to release Omar Navarro from prison and remove his name from something known as the SDN List.

The SDN roster is something only mentioned in the Season 4 pass, but it proves to be one of the biggest obstacles for the Perdis and their efforts to get Navarro’s lifetime of freedom.

Marty and Wendy plot to get Omar out of prison

In the first part of Ozark season four, Omar Navarro is set to be the subject of a deal with the FBI, where he works as a Jasper for five years in exchange for immunity from prosecution.

However, Agent Maya Miller felt betrayed that this deal allowed Navarro to remain free, and arrested Omar herself, leaving the deal up in the air.

In the second part of Season 4, Byrds hopes to revive the deal because getting out from under the cartel’s thumb will allow them to pursue more legitimate business ventures.

To do this, however, they will need to remove Omar Navarro’s name from the list of specific sites on the network.

What is SDN List in Ozark Season 4?

SDN List is officially known as Specially Designated Citizens and Banned Persons List and it is something that exists in real life.

It is a procedure by which the US government can sanction specific individuals and companies who pose a threat to the national security of the United States or its foreign and economic policy.

Among the people designated as terrorists, international criminals and cartel leaders are at the top of the list, a number of prominent politicians have also appeared including Russian President Vladimir Putin who was recently added after the invasion of Ukraine.

Being on the list prevents the individual or company from trading in the US or with US-based companies, and also prevents them from taking on debt with a maturity of more than 90 days.

If a listed person or company has assets in the United States, they will likely be frozen to prevent the listed individual from making money from them.

To be added to the no-go list, you must be seen as a serious security or economic threat to the United States, which shows that Omar Navarro is a really bad job.
