New clip from Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange and America Chavez feature Xochitl Gomez on a tripartite journey through the multiverse. Fans will instantly recognize clips from the clip revealed in the official trailer for Doctor Strange 2. The titular hero and America Chavez are holding each other tightly as they face different realities. Their bodies seem to disintegrate like building blocks, with Doctor Strange screaming either in pain or despair. This time, the footage continues and shows what happens to the characters, as they collide across different universes.
It’s unique that a 23-second video can contain such psychedelic visuals, but there are many clues to be found. As they traverse the space between universes, Doctor Strange and Miss America transform into a multicolored liquid. If that wasn’t strange enough, they then split into another world and recreate them back to their normal states. However, Doctor Strange and America Chavez remain in motion, passing at least five other worlds before colliding with Earth in the sixth universe. “Are you well?” Doctor Strange asks America Chavez before the screen turns black.
Doctor Strange’s multiverse reviews are starting to go crazy, with ComicBook.com’s Gina Anderson rating the Marvel movie 4 out of 5. “In the hands of any other creative team, Dr. Strange said, The multiverse of madness This roundabout ride of gimmicks could easily have become – but thanks to director Sam Raimi and writer Michael Waldron, it can rest sufficiently on a strong emotional core. Waldron’s script takes the MCU’s traditional solo streak and gives them a bit more whimsy and character, while still legitimizing the seriousness of what the characters are going through. This meshes perfectly with the sensibilities of Raimi’s output, and creates a clever but serious tone that will (correctly) draw comparisons to his revolutionary work on the original Sony. Spider Man Triple. All the while, the movie deals with the idea of regret, sadness, and compassion for yourself – and the way he decides to tackle these things is an original and often effective way. (Wanda’s story, in particular, finds a way to build on her excellent character in the arc WandaVision The Disney+ series while also meandering at something that seems surprising, but not unprecedented.) The multiverse of madness Running time may be a little over two hours, with the movie feeling like a justifiable amount of time to spend with its characters, while still leaving a fair amount of narrative flesh on the bone.”
