Demon Slayer shares Nezuko’s fierce new art

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 2 officially ended with its original and English dubbed broadcast, and as it gears up for a home media release with some fierce new art spotlighting Nezuko Kamado. The Entertainment District arc of Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga series has been revived over the course of the second season of the anime, and with it, Tanjiro Kamado and the others have pushed harder than ever before. They took the first true upper rank demonic threats, all of them grew up rising to meet these challenges. This was especially true for Nezuko, who had unleashed a whole new level of strength.

The Entertainment Zone arc showed a whole new side of Nezuko as her body evolved into a much stronger version of her demonic power. Although she came with a sudden increase in strength and speed allowing her to fight on par with her Daki and recover from her injuries at a much faster pace, this also meant losing her conscious mind and the control she was able to maintain. Now the cover for the next Blu-ray release in Japan has put Nezuko’s new look front and center with some cool new artwork. You can check it out below:

The Entertainment District arc has officially introduced Tanjiro (and fans) to the first members of Upper Moons, and they are the real threats to the rest of the series moving forward. Fortunately, with the final episode of season two, it was soon confirmed that Demon Slayer would be returning for season three. The release window for the new season isn’t set yet, but it has been announced that new episodes will be captured with the manga’s next major arc, Swordsmith Village Arc.

Season 3 of the series will introduce more demonic threats of the highest order as well as bring more Hashira into the fold to propel the action into a whole new realm of intensity. Fortunately, now that season 3 has been confirmed, that means there’s more time to follow for episodes yet. You can check out the first two seasons of Demon Slayer now streaming on Crunchyroll.
