Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness It has finally hit theaters, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is undoubtedly astounding audiences’ minds. The film takes an action-packed adventure across the multiverse with the likes of Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and more, with repercussions that you’re sure to feel in the MCU for years to come. It was wildly rumored that the Multiverse of Madness would introduce new characters and actors to the MCU — and as it turns out, that includes an Academy Award-winning actress. The film’s mid-credits scene sees a stranger walking along a street in New York City, only to encounter a mysterious woman dressed in purple. As it turns out, this woman is none other than Clea (Charlize Theron), and she invites Strange to work with her to help fix the incursion he accidentally caused through the events of the movie. Strange agrees, throws his cloak over his shoulder and activates his third eye, as it cuts a hole in time and space so they can enter the dark dimension.
This scene finally brings Theron – the Academy Award winning actress through her work monsterwhich is also known for its work on things like Mad Max: Fury Road And atomic blond – In the world of on-screen superhero projects, after years of fans who expressed their desire to see her join the world. As Theron revealed in a 2019 interview, the closest she ever got to entering this world was being offered the role of Hippolyta, Wonder Woman’s mother, in the character’s solo movie.
And the actress revealed during one of her episodes, “I did not disappoint the role of Wonder Woman.” Watch what’s happening live. “That’s a great example of how Hollywood can slap you in the face when you start getting older. So someone said to me, ‘There’s an act about this thing, Wonder Woman, we just want to make you aware of that,’ and I was like, ‘I’m not aware of that’ , I mean, what does Wonder Woman do?” And then that person said, “No, it’s the mother of Wonder Woman.” It’s okay. It was the defining moment I crossed over. And I wasn’t completely aware of it.”
