Meredith Gray took a lot of bullshit when instinct anatomy She returned from a hiatus on May 5th. As news spread of her accepting a full-time job in Minnesota, Meredith endured Maggie and Catherine’s wrath, Richard’s screams, and some Zingers brand from Addison. After maintaining her professionalism all day, her feelings faded even when Nick suggested that she stay in Seattle for now. Et tu, McTransplant? Meredith went into a wonderful hustle, and asked why she alone was required to stay at Gray Sloan when she was ready to move on, and it all started to feel a bit of “art imitating life” to me.
Ellen Pompeo found the role of a lifetime when she began playing Meredith Gray in Shonda Rhimes’ lead drama in 2005. However, the actress never expected the series to last more than 18 seasons, and she’s spoken publicly in the past few years about having one either. On the show “For Too Long” and work on it “Convince everyone that it must end.” Which is why when Meredith felt uncharacteristically frantic about her colleagues’ insistence that she owed the hospital her unyielding devotion, I couldn’t help but wonder if little Eileen glanced at Meredith’s words:
I have the right to leave. I got the right to leave. Other people from my residence class, left and took other opportunities. I stayed. I worked. I searched. I won prizes for that place. I did everything expected of me and then some. And now if I want to leave, is it considered unfaithful? It’s silly. It’s absurd. Do you know what this is? It’s my decision, and I made my decision.

Interestingly, the only other actors who have been on ABC to have hit on with Ellen Pompeo all these years are James Pickens Jr. (Richard) and Chandra Wilson (Billy) – the two characters who were most irritated by Meredith for wanting to leave. Now, I’m in no way suggesting that her fellow cast members Ellen Pompeo harbor ill intentions towards her because of her opinions on the show. In fact, it seems to be so Pompeo’s passion for instinct anatomy Which inspires some of her concerns to continue. Instead of just taking care of herself The money the show earnsPompeo wants to make sure there are good stories left to tell.
At the end of “Should I stay or go,” Meredith agreed to stay in Seattle a little longer, which again reflects Ellen Pompeo’s contract renewal. The actress raised her contract for another year, to ensure that instinct anatomy Season 19 will air on ABC, but then we’ll have to see if Pompeo has made a decision.
