There are only three episodes left before the book closes in The Pearson Family Story, and this is us oscillation cast Toward the end of the series, some actors are looking to hold on to a piece of television history. It’s all too common for the stars of a hit show to keep something of their spot as a memento from that particular era in their careers, and after six years together, a few members of the cast have been looking at some meaningful — and sometimes big — props from the NBC drama set.
Sterling K. Brown, also known as Senator Randall Pearson, was not shy about the emotional impact that the outcome of the series had on him, offering A crying plea for recognition of Mandy Moore For her portrayal of Rebecca amid the deteriorating personality of Alzheimer’s disease. Chrissy Metz and Chris Sullivan were such a big part of Season 6 that we didn’t just get to see The end of Kate and Toby’s marriagebut their trips to Finding a new love. After such a long and emotional experience, what items did the actors want to keep as their own?
Sterling K. Brown wanted a special souvenir to go to Susan Kelechi Watson
One of the greatest couples on TVRandall and Beth supported each other until the end, and when Sterling K. Brown thought about the trinkets that represented his time on the show, he said People On what he wants for his TV wife:
There is a small statue. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t take this. I think soo [Susan Kelechi Watson] This is worth more than I am. It’s a little kind of black Barbie doll that lives in our kitchen and moves from different places all the time. I just love the idea of them having a small statue of the black girl that was a part of their lives for their daughters to see as they grow up, which is awesome.
I love the idea of the doll dancing around Randall and Beth’s kitchen — and I’ll definitely be watching her on the inevitable series re-watches — but more than what actress Susan Kelechi Watson said she deserves more than him. Act. Peth proved that she was Pearson’s best player Time and time again, he’s always there to give Randall whatever support he needs, and he’s often far enough out of the Pearson family drama to see situations in a clearer perspective.
That doesn’t mean Sterling Kay Brown should leave Paramount Studios empty-handed. The actor also admitted that he wouldn’t mind taking Pilgrim Rick’s hat and starting his own Thanksgiving tradition. Just don’t forget Police Academy 3!
Chrissy Metz and Mandy Moore called molasses a musical souvenir
Season 6 saw Kate learn to stand up for herself and make decisions for her happiness, and some of that power seems to be shown when she claims that there is a significant and meaningful element she told him People She wanted to keep:
Definitely like the piano. You already made it known to everyone in the group. There are two types of piano. There was, at least, one in Randall and Beth played by William (Ron Cephas Jones). Then there’s one at Kate and Toby’s house. Regardless, I’ll get that puppy. I’ve taken Kate’s hospital teams and other things, but I want something substantial. This piano clearly has a lot of great and wonderful memories of the show. I’d just have to get it so we’ll see.
If it looks like Chrissy Metz is fighting hard to prove that the piano is hers, it’s because she might have some competition. Mandy Moore said Jimmy Kimmel Live That she also wanted to take home the prop that was such a big part of her character’s life:
There is this family piano that has been passed down from generation to generation. I’ll take it.
Mandy Moore — who is actually three years younger than the actress who plays her daughter — admitted that Chrissy Metz had actually called molasses, but joked that she was willing to play a little sloppy and “drop the props master like a hundred dollar bill.”

Chrissy Metz said there have been a couple of floating around the family’s homes over the decades, and there was definitely one from the music school where Kate and Philip met. Hopefully there will be enough to walk around without causing a major mother/daughter quarrel!
Chris Sullivan wants to kick the group out in a huge piece of Pearson history
Going big or going home, right? Chris Sullivan’s character may not have made it so far with Kate, but Toby would finally laugh if he could drive the Grand Wagoneer for Jack Pearson. Of course, he knows that ordering a car is a little different than hoping to keep some of Toby’s wardrobe (Hawaiian shirts!), and Sullivan is a reasonable man. Tell People:
I can’t take it because it would be Grand Theft Auto, but I asked the producers and powers that be if I could buy a Grand Wagoneer from Pearsons. My wife and I have always loved those cars and this guy is in great shape. It’s kind of a symbol of that family and the journey the show has taken. …I will love it, use it, respect it and take care of it. I think that’s what it deserves.
Looks like Chris Sullivan’s relationship with this car could last longer than Catobi’s marriage! It might be a long shot, but isn’t it cool to see Chris Sullivan roll into a set new comic pilot son in law In that classic piece of machinery?
Heart-warming to think so this is us She meant as much to the actors as she meant to the fans. The meaningful props the cast members have been hoping to pull off the set show just how important the past six years have been.
