We love it when directors share group updates, which is what Rob Zombie has been doing frequently since he started producing his movie Munsters. The lovable sitcom family debuted in 1964, and the series spawned a spin-off as well as a few movies, but it’s been a while since the creepy clan was recreated. Zombie is famous for horror movies like The house of 1000 corpses And Halloween (2007), but his version of Monster would be more family-friendly. In fact, it was revealed earlier this year that the film will categorize PG as “horrific and suggestive material, and frightening visuals and language.” This week, Zombie shared some new photos that have appeared with Jeff Daniel Phillips (Herman Munster), Sheri Moon Zombie (Lily Munster), and Daniel Roebuck (Grandpa Munster).

Roebuck previously said, “I really hope the audience will just walk away entertained and laughing. That’s all we really hope to make in any movie, well, unless it’s a drama.” “If all goes well and people really like it, maybe we will have a chance to do it again. I just hope people realize that they will have a whole new version of monsters Can live and coexist side by side with the original version of monsters. Nobody wants to replace it, we all love it so much. We just want to highlight it with our approach which I think is the best way to look at it.”
In addition to the cast featured in the picture, the upcoming Munsters movie will feature Richard Brick as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang and Sylvester McCoy as Igor. Zombie also shared horror icon Elvira (aka Cassandra Peterson) who is part of the cast along with Lost Stars Jorge Garcia, who will appear in the movie as Floop, an all-new character described as Dr. Wolfgang’s “hunchback assistant” and “Hermann Munster’s best friend.”
