Cody Rhodes ended up appearing on SmackDown last night after the cameras broke, and he ended up interacting with fans, taking some photos and signing some autographs. It turns out there was a young fan who wanted to make sure he got a picture with the WWE Superstar, so he jumped over the bulkhead and walked straight to Rhodes and squeezed his arm. As you can see in the video below (via Brandon Turrisi), Rhodes is pretty surprised to see someone behind him, but it all worked out in the end, and Rhodes was more than happy to jump into a photo.
The video shows Rhodes taking a picture with some of his other fans when you see the kid walking towards him and tapping his shoulder to see if he takes a picture. Rhodes is shocked and then tends to talk to him, and they look for his parents. They eventually find them and Rhodes leads them back.

Once the video was shared, Rhodes replied, “This blew me away. He ended up getting a pic 😂 📸 Good kid.” You never know what to expect at a WWE live event, but I doubt a fan will forget that interaction anytime soon, and now he has a picture to remember.
Rhodes will face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania Backlash, which will be the rematch of their fight at WrestleMania 38. That match was also Rhodes’ big comeback to WWE, and the reaction he received from fans was epic to say the least. He’s since become one of the biggest stars on Monday Night Raw, and now he’s going to face Rollins in what should be another great match.
It remains to be seen what’s next for him, as there are several ways WWE could go. Could we see Rhodes in the mix of the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship, which Roman Reigns currently holds? We’ll have to wait and see, but that will be a runner that fans will love to see.
