Impact Wrestling crowns the new tag team champions in Under Siege

Impact Wrestling had a card loaded for tonight’s pay-per-view Under Siege, and there was a major change of title before the show wrapped up. Later in the night, there was a fight for the Impact World Tag Team Championship between Champions Violent by Design and The Briscoe, featuring Eric Young and Deaner Violent by Design, although Joe Doering was still hanging out of the ring. It was an uphill battle and at times it looked like the VBD would steal the win, but the Briscoes beat the numbers game and defeated VBD, becoming the new Impact World Tag Team champions.

VBD was able to take control of the match, but then Young was thrown by Mark, while Jay Deaner was thrown into Doering. The Briscoes took advantage of that and provided a Doomsday device over Deaner for the pin and win, becoming the Best Tag Team in Impact Wrestling as a result.

This ends Violent by Design’s second reign in 63 days, surpassing their first title by two days. They defeated FinJuice to win their first Tag Team Championship and were then defeated by The Good Brothers at Slammiversary last year. They will defeat The Good Brothers to regain their titles at this year’s Sacrifice event. You can find the full results for tonight’s Under Siege event below.
