One of the most awaited partnerships in All Elite Wrestling finally came together dynamite Wednesday night. Hockhausen isn’t just an online movement anymore, he’s now canon in the ring. Hawke and Danhausen had a story brewing a few weeks ago, which began as enemies when Danhausen couldn’t curse Hawke. This relationship has become more cordial recently, as Danhausen reaches out a hand and a bag of chips in friendship.
The writing was on the wall for Hookhausen, but Hook’s reluctance to accept his co-worker’s odd gestures left fans wondering if the partnership would actually happen. These questions were answered on Wednesday evening as Danhausen made his AEW debut. Thanks to a sucker punch from Smart Mark Sterling, Danhausen was installed by Tony Nese in a matter of seconds, delivering a grueling punch after the bell. It was dismantled with the arrival of the hook.
When Hawk took control of the ring, he squared off with Danhausen and the two finally shook hands, resulting in massive pop from the audience in attendance. The reaction of fans online was just as exciting as those in the arena, with many spending the evening celebrating Hookhausen’s creation.
